Personally, I don't think he takes after either of them. :)
Mark and Melissa are a really sweet couple who wanted to record the newest phase of their lives together; their new young puppy called Luke. He is such a good-natured dog, one of those big, bouncing, happy dogs that almost seem to be smiling all the time, if you know what I mean. He is also quite obedient for his age, too.
Melissa and Mark live in Calgary and we did the photo session at Fish Creek park in the south side of the city. It's quite a nice area, with a couple of quaint restaurants and what looked like a few walking trails, though I didn't have a chance to explore the place. But we did take photos, though!
I had my friend James Day from Australia helping me out with my lights and taking a few photos. He's actually a very accomplished photographer in his own right and although I loved the fact that he came along it was an odd feeling to be working with another photographer (other than my wife, Sherri). I think it would be cool to do again though.
Anyways, I am super busy editing weddings and helping people out with my new Photoshop actions, so the whole session is not yet completely edited, but I wanted to put up a teaser image and this little write-up just for now. :) We took quite a few images with several different looks, but here's just one for now.
I'll be back with more in a few days.
